About the Artwork
The choice. An excerpt from the myth of Er, which ends Plato's Republic, in which a herald casually distributes the numbers determining the order in which the souls who collect them choose the body in which to reincarnate. However, there is no guarantee that the order, hence casuality, is truly determining: the real motivations come from the previous incarnation. The wise will choose the best body: that of the philosopher; the unwise who were poor in a previous life will choose the body of a wealthy man, not knowing that the only true joy is philosphy.

Truly Design®
Truly Design® is an artistic collective formed by four friends who have shared since adolescence their passion for graffiti and street art. Thanks to the ecleptic approach born from observing and working on our surroundings, the group’s horizons quickly widened from sole artistic production to illustration, graphic design, logotype design, didactics and other creative applications. Truly Design’s resulting professional growth reached its turning point with the foundation of the omonymous graphic studio based in Torino. Presently, the collective works both on commissioned projects and personal artistic creations, distinguishing its work with tangible cohesiveness and live interest in exploring new expressive channels.
No matter how different our approaches and styles are, we are all held together by our openness towards the will to try out new stuff and to evolve. This allows us to develop together all of our projects, unifying our points of view, and making our different tastes collide and contaminate each other: these differences, sometimes stressed on purpose, are what really bring out the final result.
